Investors
Mark Darby started Alliantist in his bedroom after leaving Deloitte in early 2005. He remortgaged his family home to 'bet the farm' and borrowed substantially to follow his passion of equipping others to get their jobs done well. Mark has been the primary investor and remains the major shareholder in the business. Fortunately we have moved beyond Mark's spare bedroom and now occupy multiple offices at Sussex Innovation Centre as well offices for the team across the UK and internationally.
All staff have an interest in our ongoing success and the business operates a share option scheme as well as an informal reward programme called ABCD; Above and Beyond the Call of Duty.
The business has healthy cashflows with a good cash balance and is debt free. We have a strong reinvestment culture with a large proportion of income going back in to development of pam as well as the infrastructure around it, including growth in staff numbers to continue serving our customers. With our values reinforcing an interest in society and ecosystem development we also give back through our Community Interest Company Achieve More CIC.
We have no need for financial investment but are open to discussions from strategic investors* to accelerate our growth and make a bigger difference for more organisations more quickly.
(*strategic investors means investors with an interest in the delivery of sustainable outcomes for our customers first, rather than just a financial reward in itself)
